LFW Day Two 2016.

My first day of London Fashion Week 2016 was busy, soggy and despite the fact that it involved some pretty hefty logistical nightmares (#notalondonerproblems) it actually was so much fun – a little too much I would say, so tomorrow will most likely feel a lot more work-like in comparison (maybe that’s because I’m teaming up with Maybelline tomorrow afternoon… so it is work! DOH!) but I’m so excited to see what tomorrow brings, a new hotel, three very exciting shows and another outfit shoot!

I actually shot two outfits, but I thought I’d save the second for later as it’s a bit more evening appropriate (for me anyway)! Seeing as yesterday was a travel day in terms of coming from Brighton to London, I decided to keep things a little more casual. Boots instead of heels and a warm coat to shelter from the rain under. I teamed these essential basics with my Gucci jumper for a pop of colour – this was a recent purchase after seeing it on Alexa Chung and chasing it down for months! And of course my Chanel Boy Bag had to make an outing on day one. I can’t decide whether to wear it again today or go with my Givenchy bag – so we’ll see!

The show I attended was Julien Macdonald – I’d been meaning to catch a show for a few season now but it never worked logistically until this year. It certainly did not disappoint. Sequins, embellishment and angular cuts made this collection right up my street and the production of the show was incredible. The makeup and hair was provided by L’Oreal, and everything just worked together seamlessly.
I’m off to catch some sleep now as it’s currently 2am as I type this and I have a show at 10:30 – AHH! Excuse any typos – I have a serious case of sleepy brain.
Let me know what your favourite show has been so far from LFW! And any you’re looking forward to seeing?
