Giorgio Armani’s Glow In A Bottle

It’s no secret that I love a good glow-giving foundation. Being the barer of dry and often dehydrated skin, it’s naturally my foundation finish of choice. When the chance came to give the Giorgio Armani Maestro Glow Foundation a go, I couldn’t wait. It’s a bi-phase formula that blends like a dream and after a few weeks of wear I can confirm that it’s most definitely love with this one, the finish is just something else and I’ve fallen a bit head over heels for it.
In terms of the shade match, I use shade four. It’s worth trying out in store as the initial first drop of foundation looks a little darker than the same shade I have in Luminous Silk but where as other foundations tend to look darker and oxidise once you begin to apply, the opposite seems to happen here, and we have a perfect match. The product blends in beautifully with the skin whether you’re using your fingers, a brush or blending sponge (my preferred method is the latter) and the wear time is pretty impressive on me for such a hydrating formula.
Once blended the finish is something really special. It gives a sheen to the skin unlike any other foundation I own and has a lovely light (but build-able to medium) coverage. It has SPF 30, making it perfect for daily wear, and an additional sweep of one of their limited edition Chinese New Year highlighter leaves me with a complexion that I don’t want to wash away come 7pm.
