Behind the Scenes with Maybelline at Temperley

Behind the Scenes with Maybelline New York at Temperley
Day Three of London Fashion week was possibly my most exciting day, not only did I have a day full of shows but I was going to be backstage with Maybelline New York, the official sponsors of London Fashion Week, at the Temperley show. Dreamy, right?
I was so excited to be getting backstage access with such an iconic global brand for an incredible show, and the experience definitely did not disappoint…
The makeup was described by Val Garland as a windswept, shipwrecked look, inspired by pirates and mermaids. Think natural, glowing, dewy skin. It was beautiful and incredibly wearable (keep your eyes peeled for an everyday recreation coming to my YouTube channel soon!)
To start off the skin was given a gorgeous dewy look using the Maybelline New York Dream Satin Liquid Foundation and blended in using the Maybelline New York Dream Blender for a more flawless finish. The Maybelline New York Dream Lumi Touch Concealer was used to conceal and brighten the skin, whilst the Maybelline New York Baby Lips Balm and Blush in shade Shimmering Bronze was used across the eyes, cheekbones and lips for a wet look. It gives such a high shine finish which was perfect for this look, but without the wet, sticky feeling of other glossy products. The look was finished off with the Maybelline New York Setting Spray to keep everything in place, whilst still maintaining the beautiful sheen to the skin.

Just like the makeup, the show was also absolutely stunning. Floaty fabrics galore with romantic ruffles, frills and Victorianna bows. The colour palette was so unique, unlike anything I’ve seen so far this week, and pretty much everyone around me agreed it was completely breathtaking.
This post is in collaboration with, and kindly sponsored by Maybelline New York. Thank you so much for an unforgettable experience!
